He criticizes the communication from CMS (Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools) for not informing all parents about potential exposure, suggesting that only those in close contact with the infected student were notified.

Jensen also covers a violent incident at Ardrey Kell High School where a student allegedly hit a girl so hard that she suffered facial fractures requiring surgery. The attack is being investigated as a potential hate crime, with the attacker reportedly making racially charged comments. The school’s response, including the communication sent to parents, is under scrutiny, and the girl’s family is planning a press conference.

Later in the show, Jensen interviews Russ Ferguson, the newly appointed U.S. Attorney for Western North Carolina. Ferguson expresses surprise at receiving the appointment but excitement, as the position had always been a goal of his career. He discusses his background, including his work as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in Washington, D.C.
