NC lawmaker details abuses that prompted her to switch parties

North Carolina Rep. Tricia Cotham made national news when she switched her party affiliation and became a Republican yesterday. The move gave the GOP a supermajority in the House to override the Democratic Governor’s veto. But unless Cotham changes her political philosophy, her vote isn’t a sure thing in all cases. Cotham’s flip seems to be a response to personal insults, threats, and abuse from the political Left.
