NC moves to ban child trans surgeries

The North Carolina House of Representatives passed a bill outlawing transgender surgeries on minors under the age of 18. Its passage was bipartisan, as two Democrats joined the GOP majority – which would be enough votes to override a veto by Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper.
