North Carolina Rep. Tricia Cotham was celebrated as a hero at the NC GOP convention over the weekend. Cotham left the Democrat Party and became a Republican – citing a desire to vote her conscience. But party delegates also censured Sen. Thom Tillis (R) for working against party platform policies.
