US Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown-Jackson (who famously could not define what a woman is) heard oral arguments today in a case about Tennessee law banning life-altering transgender medical interventions on children. She seemed to understand what a woman is for that debate.
The US Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case out of Tennessee over whether that state can ban puberty blockers and trans surgeries on minors. The federal government and the ACLU argue the law is discriminatory based on sex, while Tennessee argues it's based on medical necessity.

Legislation passed in the state of Washington would allow kids 13 to 18 years old to stay at youth shelters and host homes without their parents’ knowledge.
